Get your nut bags ready! This recipe is quick and easy. I switched from making almond milk to oat milk recently and I’m so glad I did! Although, I still love almond milk, oat milk is so much easier, cheaper and helps out the bees! I also love honey so anything to help out those little worker bees I’m for it.

I like this recipe best because it makes a full mason jar! I have been adding this oat milk to recipes and smoothies and it’s perfect! I love that there is NO soaking. For whatever reason soaking the almonds for 24 hours would turn into 36 hours then I would forget when I actually started soaking them. Mashed potato mom brain!

Just place your oats in the blender with water and blend for about 30 to 40 seconds and boom done. Want to fancy it up and make it vanilla? Just strain and add vanilla and boom again done. SERIOUSLY so simple. This is the type of simplicity I need.

Get yo nut bag! I use this little guy for so many things. Every time I use it I feel the need to say “get yo nut bags”. Maybe it’s my immature side but nut bag just cracks me up. Anyway, enjoy this recipe and let me know if you make it!

You have TWO options here! You can shake up your oat milk before each use making it creamier with a slight texture (this is what I do) or you can let it settle in the fridge and then pour into a new jar leaving behind what had settled. Totally up to you. Just find how you like it and what works for you!
